Elvon and Roxanne Douglas and the Mustang Medicine Hoop are hosting a candelight vigil along with many other folks all across the country, to comemorate the signing of the Wild Free Roaming Horses and Burros Acts on Dec.15th.1971, and to honor and remember ’Wild Horse Annie’, the wild horse adovcate who helped create this act.

The vigil will take place at our ranch, Playa del Grajo, near Sheep Rock 12 miles north east of Weed, Ca. and will start promptly at 6:00 pm on Thursday, Dec.15th. 2011  We will hold vigil around our medicine circle, have a fire and warm drinks for all who come.
